A
vacation rental with the best and fullest view of and access to Playa
La Saladita's incredible longboard surfing point....
The
House of Waves is located on La Saladita Beach only 40 minutes north
of the twin Pacific coast resorts of Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo in the state
of Guerrero, Mexico and directly in front of one of what is reputed
to be Mexico's longest and most consistent longboard surfing wave. La
Saladita and other nearby beaches also provide miles of excellent beachcombing
territory and sandy stretches apt for swimming and boogie-boarding without
the congestion of more tourist-oriented destinations.
Three separate bedrooms
with private bath, kitchenette and living/dining area are available
on the lower floor of the House of Waves, with easy access to a covered
verandah for outdoor dining, relaxing in a hammock or sitting and contemplating
the surf that's right out in front of you. The room facing the mountains has a/c, the other 2, directly off the front verandah, have fans.
The second floor consists
of a two bedroom apartment (bedrooms with a/c), and shared kitchen, bath and living space, making it
an ideal apartment for small groups. It has a balcony from
which guests can get an even better view of the wave action
and beach. The second floor also has another separate air conditioned bedroom facing the mountains.
The
kitchens are equipped with basic cooking necessities and contain stove,
sink, coffee maker and refrigerator. Bathroom installations are clean
and modern. Water and light are included in the rental price. Linens
are provided and cleaning is performed between 10 am to 1 pm daily.
All bedrooms contain
two double beds for accommodating up
to 4 people per room.
Only
steps away from the House of Waves is Enramada Jacqueline, where
fabulous breakfasts and meals of fresh seafood such as lobster and red
snapper can be had if you'd rather not do your own cooking. Enramada
Jacqueline also offers surfboard rentals.
